As far back as I can remember, I would watch my dad in his wood shop take a piece of wood and create something beautiful out of nothing. Time after time I remember being amazed at his creations as if he were magic. I had no idea at the time, but he was teaching me life-long lessons that I still hold dear to my heart to this day. It’s funny how things often work out because the day came that I met a man who also shared the same passion for woodworking as myself. Today we are married with three children, two dogs, and one cat. The more my husband and I created in our garage as a hobby, the more requests we received from friends and family to make them something similar, yet customized to their liking. This was an enjoyable time and allowed for us to develop our craft and improve on designs. After some repeated encouragement from our neighbors, we decided to turn the hobby we love into a business and T & K Kustom Karve was born. Many of our designs are inspired by our two Tamaskan’s, Miko and Motley, who we absolutely adore. Some of the other personal designs we are proud of are a direct reflection of our faith and are meant to encourage and inspire others to be the best person they can be. The remainder of our designs are just for fun or an example of what a few of our customers have had customized for themselves. We are excited to work with new people and look forward to meeting the creative needs that our customer’s desire.
Troy & Krystal
We are managing partners of T & K Kustom Karve, established in 2019. Troy and I never planned on working together, professionally, it just worked out that way. We met in 2009, while driving cab and shuttle bus. We were both going to school for Social Work, single parents, and became friends right away. We finished school and both started in the Social Work Field. We started working together professionally in 2017. We were nervous and excited, and it has been an amazing adventure. Troy has an amazing sense of humor and is great with people. Troy is more extroverted and I am more introverted and this diversity works well for our business. I am creative and love to design. We work great together because we respect each other, push each other, support each other, and he is my best friend.
Cooper, Jeslyn Hunter Miko & Motley
Not only are we business partners, co-workers, and husband and wife, but most importantly, we are parents to our three kids, two dogs, and one cat. Our boys love football, snowmobiling, and are growing up way too fast. Jeslyn is becoming her own person. She loves her many animals, is a hard worker, and still makes time for her family, especially her grandmother. Miko & Motley are our Tamaskan’s. They are inseparable. They are so very smart and loveable.
